Our original location will pour special DDBC beers entered in the GABF judging. The list includes our Pro-Am “Philly sour” pickle beer, an English ginger beer, an Australian pale ale , a helles, a hefeweizen, a Scottish ale and treats from our cellar. Some of these will flow at North Dock.

 

“Arte de Lupulo/Hop Art”  (North Dock location)

This art exhibit celebrates the unsung Mexican migrant workers and Mexican Americans who work in our nation’s hop fields. These enlightening lino-cut prints are the work of Christie Tirado, a Mexican American artist and school art teacher in Washington’s Yakima Valley region.

 

Meet & Greet (& Buy) Art Event with Illustrator/Author Em Sauter

October 5, 5-7 p.m. at downtown’s Slate Hotel (1250 Welton St, Denver, CO)

Sauter is the illustrator/author of the new Hooray for Craft Beer, an illustrated guide to craft beer from the Brewers Association. An award-winning cartoonist, BJCP judge and creator of Pints and Panels®, Sauter uses her art to make beer education more approachable and fun.

Denver Rare Beers

Oct. 7, noon-4 PM, McNichols Civic Center Building, 144 W. Colfax Ave

The ultimate beer-geek event during GABF is back after a two-year hiatus. Dry Dock’s 2018 Bligh’s Barleywine joins a mind-blowing array of special and elusive beers for this annual fundraiser for Pints for Prostates, craft beer’s prostate cancer awareness group.

 

GABF Happy Hour/Meet & Greet, Oct. 7

From 2-4 p.m. at The Former Saint bar (at the Hyatt Regency across from the convention center) meet the Dry Dock field team and enjoy six DDBC beers on tap, including flagships and seasonals and a 2020 barrel-aged imperial stout.

 

Brew Talks Panel Discussion, Oct. 6

Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, noon-3 p.m.

DDBC Sales Director Ryan Call will be part of a panel discussion on selling beer to national chain stores, along with reps from Odell, Juneshine and Athletic Brewing.
